Job Description:
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both clinical and administrative functions in a healthcare setting. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and patients to provide high-quality care and ensure efficient daily operations.
Responsibilities Include:
-Prepare patients for examinations and take vital signs
-Assist healthcare providers with exams, procedures, and treatments
-Perform basic clinical tasks such as EKGs, phlebotomy, and specimen collection (as trained)
-Update and maintain patient records and documentation
-Schedule appointments and assist with front office duties as needed
-Provide patient education and follow-up instructions
-Ensure cleanliness and proper stocking of exam rooms
-Support patient safety, privacy, and comfort at all times
Qualifications:
-Medical Assistant certification or experience required
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Basic clinical skills (vitals, rooming, documentation, etc.)
-Reliable transportation
-Ability to work flexible hours and occasional weekends
-Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
