We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at MDC Brooklyn under a federal contract. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing high-quality nursing care and be committed to improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide basic medical care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
– Administer medications and injections as prescribed.
– Monitor patient health and vital signs, updating records accurately.
– Assist with patient hygiene and daily living activities.
– Prepare and maintain patient records and documentation.
– Support physicians and registered nurses in patient care procedures.
– Educate patients about health management and disease prevention.
– Ensure compliance with federal healthcare regulations and standards.
– Participate in the development of patient care plans.
– Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate care.
Requirements:
– Valid LPN license from any U.S. state.
– Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
– Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
– Ability to pass a comprehensive background and credit check.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
– Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
