Salary Range: $135,000 – $150,000 annually

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Sacramento, CA. The ideal candidate will have expertise in providing comprehensive healthcare services to children, including well-child care, physical examinations, management of sick visits, chronic conditions, immunizations, sports physicals, and treatment of minor injuries. Key Responsibilities:

– Conduct well-child visits and physical examinations to assess and monitor growth and development.
– Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
– Perform sick visits to evaluate and treat common childhood illnesses.
– Administer immunizations and educate families on vaccination schedules.
– Conduct sports physicals and assess fitness for physical activities.
– Treat minor injuries and provide appropriate follow-up care.
– Collaborate with pediatricians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.
– Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
– Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

– Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
– Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California.
– Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) is required.
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric healthcare settings.
– Strong knowledge of pediatric growth, development, and disease management.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
– Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
– Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
