Job Title: Registered Nurse (Infusion)
Location: New York, NY 10021
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday
Compensation: $50-$53 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have experience in infusion therapy and possess strong IV skills. This position involves providing high-quality patient care and requires the ability to work autonomously.
Key Responsibilities:
– Initiate, monitor, and complete intravenous and intramuscular therapies, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and blood products.
– Administer pre-medications and hydration therapies.
– Care for patients with IV lines, central lines, and ports.
– Safely administer and monitor blood products.
– Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure the best patient outcomes.
– Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
– Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-therapy care.
Qualifications:
– Registered Nurse with current New York State licensure.
– 1-3 years of nursing experience, preferably in infusion therapy.
– Strong IV skills and familiarity with central lines and ports.
– Ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
