Job Title: Dental Assistant

Location: Morgantown, WV

Contract Type: Long-term Government Contract

Work Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
– Assist the dentist during various dental procedures and ensure patient comfort
– Prepare dental operatory and maintain cleanliness and sterilization standards
– Perform radiologic procedures and ensure radiology safety compliance
– Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
– Provide patients with oral hygiene instructions and post-operative care information
– Maintain accurate and organized patient records
– Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed
– Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and protocols

Qualifications:
– Diploma or certification from an accredited dental school
– Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental assistant
– BLS/CPR certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
– Radiology and radiology safety training
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills
– Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
– Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
