Medical Technologist

Job Responsibilities:
– Perform laboratory tests and procedures in Microbiology and additional disciplines as needed
– Analyze and interpret laboratory results with accuracy and precision
– Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment while following quality control standards
– Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver timely and accurate laboratory information
– Maintain thorough laboratory records and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
– Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities
– Follow all laboratory safety protocols and procedures
– Stay current on developments and best practices in laboratory medicine

Qualifications:
– U.S. Citizen (required)
– Current ASCP or AMT certification as a Medical Technologist
– Experience in Microbiology
– Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association
– Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
