Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Behavioral Health Technician with expertise in trauma care to join our team in Annapolis. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate and effective support to individuals experiencing trauma-related mental health challenges, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of treatment plans under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals.
• Provide direct care and support to patients in a residential setting.
• Monitor patients’ physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to the clinical team.
• Engage patients in therapeutic activities and provide a supportive environment.
• Document patient behaviors, progress, and any incidents as required.
• Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as necessary.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in psychology, counseling, or related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in trauma care or a behavioral health setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Clean Driving Record
