Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a full-time position at medical center near Pueblo, CO. The CMA will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centered care to our residents and assisting the nursing staff in daily healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities:
– Greet and assist visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional manner.
– Provide general administrative support to office staff and management
– Perform patient intake, assist with examinations and procedures, and administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.
– Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation
– Coordinate referrals and follow-up care with healthcare providers.
– Educate patients on health and wellness topics, promoting preventive care.
– Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications:
– Current certification as a Medical Assistant.
– Experience in both clinical and administrative roles.
– Understanding of HIPAA compliance standards.
– Excellent communication and organizational skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
– Basic Computer Skills.
