We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to become a valued part of our healthcare team in Danbury, CT. This role is ideal for a compassionate, detail-oriented professional dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and supporting clinical operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
– Record vital signs and collect specimens accurately.
– Administer medications and vaccines as directed by healthcare providers.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records using medical software.
– Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure high-quality care.
– Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals.
– Prepare and maintain medical instruments and equipment.
– Support the healthcare team in emergency situations with Basic Life Support (BLS) skills.
– Perform clerical duties such as answering phones, managing correspondence, and maintaining patient files.
– Participate in quality improvement initiatives and compliance monitoring.

Qualifications:
– National certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
– Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
– Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Proficiency in medical software and electronic health records.
– Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
– Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
– Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
