Job Description

Wilson Health is hiring a Medical Biller/Coder to join our Occupational Health and Urgent Care team in Sidney. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong ICD-10/CPT coding skills, a background in workers’ compensation, and a preference for a steady, weekday schedule in a supportive and low-stress environment.


This is an on-site role to start — with potential for hybrid flexibility after orientation!


What You’ll Be Doing:
Reporting to the Director of Occupational Health/Urgent Care (OHS), you’ll:
  • Code work-related injuries, illnesses, and urgent care visits using ICD-10 and CPT
  • Verify insurance and responsible party information
  • Submit BWC forms and follow up with companies, TPAs, or reps for treatment authorization
  • Review urgent care dictations and bill visits accordingly
  • Pursue authorization for any unauthorized claims/treatments

What You’ll Need:
  • High school diploma or GED (Associate’s degree preferred)
  • Billing/Coding certification preferred
  • Experience with workers’ compensation billing highly desired
  • Proficiency in Epic and Sysdoc is required
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working independently

Schedule:
  • 1st Shift with flexible hours: choose 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • No weekends!
