Compensation: $65 – $75 per hour

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner with experience or interest in wound care to join our team in Dallas, TX. This role involves providing advanced wound care treatments in home settings, overseeing wound care management, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience in wound care, urgent care/emergency medicine, or geriatrics. We offer training with our current Wound Care NP for those who need to refine their skills.

Key Responsibilities:
– Provide advanced wound care treatments in patients’ homes, ensuring comfort and effective healing.
– Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic wounds following evidence-based guidelines.
– Develop and implement individualized care plans for wound management.
– Collaborate with home health agencies to ensure comprehensive patient care and facilitate smooth transitions of care.
– Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of practice.
– Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
– Educate patients and their families on wound care, prevention strategies, and overall health maintenance.
– Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in wound care.

Qualifications:
– Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas.
– Certification in Wound Care preferred.
– Experience in wound care, urgent care/emergency medicine, or geriatrics is ideal.
– Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
– Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
