Job Title: Pharmacist
Location: Alexandria, LA
Schedule: Full-time Monday to Friday

Introduction:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Pharmacist to join our team. This long-term full-time Health Care assignment provides a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare system within a correctional environment. The ideal candidate will hold a PharmD license, have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and possess at least one year of experience as a pharmacist.

What You’ll Do:
– Accurately dispense medications according to physician orders while ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations.
– Provide pharmaceutical care, including counseling and medication education to patients.
– Manage inventory, ensuring proper storage and availability of medications.
– Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and treatment plans.
– Conduct regular medication regimen reviews to ensure efficacy and safety.
– Participate in health and wellness programs within the facility.

Qualifications:
– Active state Pharmacist license.
