Job Title: Contract Pharmacist
Location: Greenville, IL
Employment Type: Full-Time
Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to join our team on a long-term government contract at a federal medical center facility located near Greenville, IL, just outside of St. Louis, Missouri. This position offers a full-time weekday schedule, providing a supportive work environment and a strong commitment to work-life balance.
Compensation:
– $64 – $74 per hour
– Paid Time Off (PTO)
– Sick Time Off (STO)

– No on-call schedule
Key Responsibilities:
– Dispense and verify prescription medications for accuracy and safety.
– Review prescriptions for potential drug interactions and contraindications.
– Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support optimal patient care.
– Counsel patients on medication use and management.
– Maintain accurate patient and inventory records using EHR systems.
– Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
– Participate in wellness initiatives, audits, and staff education programs.
Key Skills:
– Strong understanding of pharmacy law and ethics.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Experience in a corrections environment is preferred but not required.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Qualifications:
– Graduated from an accredited school of pharmacy.
– Valid pharmacist license in the state of Missouri and/or Illinois.
– Minimum of 1 year of experience as a practicing pharmacist.
– Current CPR certification.
