Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Location: Alexandria, LA
Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Pharmacy Technician and play a key role in supporting patient care within a long-term medical facility. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

What You’ll Do:

-Support pharmacists in accurately preparing, labeling, and distributing medications
-Maintain up-to-date and organized pharmacy records, including inventory management
-Process prescriptions and medication orders efficiently and precisely
-Update and manage patient medication profiles and histories
-Communicate effectively with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
-Contribute to ongoing quality assurance and improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

-Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program
-Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred (hospital or long-term care experience a plus)
-Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
-Effective communicator with a team-oriented mindset
-Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to patient safety
