Key Responsibilities

– Assist pharmacists in preparing, packaging, and dispensing medications accurately.
– Process prescriptions electronically and maintain precise data entry.
– Manage and organize medication inventory, ensuring proper stock levels.
– Perform EMR charting to record patient interactions and medication usage.
– Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold all HIPAA compliance standards.
– Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
– Respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and compassion.
– Conduct routine inspections and quality checks to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

– Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
– Active Pharmacy Technician License in the U.S.
– Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
– Strong understanding of HIPAA and healthcare compliance.
– Proficiency in EMR systems and electronic charting.
– Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
– Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
