We are a correctional facility in Miami, FL that is actively seeking a dedicated and reliable Phlebotomist to join our team for a part-time position!

Responsibilities:
• Draw blood from patients for medical testing, transfusions, donations, or research.
• Verify patient information and ensure correct labeling of blood samples.
• Follow proper procedures for venipuncture and skin puncture techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of equipment and work areas.
• Interact professionally with patients to minimize discomfort and anxiety.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent infections and ensure patient safety.
• Handle and dispose of biohazardous materials according to regulations.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and stocking supplies as needed.

Qualifications:
• 1 year of previous experience as a phlebotomist
• Current Phlebotomy certification
• Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• 1 year of previous experience as a phlebotomist
• Current Phlebotomy certification
• Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association
