Are you a Physician Assistant looking for a flexible, short-term opportunity in an urgent care setting? We are seeking an experienced, independent PA for a Locum Tenens/Per Diem role in Fremont starting in April 2025. With a light patient volume, flexible scheduling, and malpractice coverage provided, this is an excellent opportunity for providers looking to supplement their schedule or gain additional experience in urgent care!
Position Highlights:
✅ Locum Tenens/Per Diem Flexibility: Pick up shifts based on availability.
✅ Comprehensive Patient Care: Conduct assessments, order diagnostics, and develop treatment plans.
✅ Acute Care Management: Treat minor injuries, fractures, infections, and urgent conditions.
✅ Procedural Skills: Perform suturing, splinting, incision & drainage, and wound care.
✅ Medication Management: Prescribe appropriate medications and provide patient education.
✅ Comprehensive Patient Care: Conduct assessments, order diagnostics, and develop treatment plans.
✅ Acute Care Management: Treat minor injuries, fractures, infections, and urgent conditions.
✅ Procedural Skills: Perform suturing, splinting, incision & drainage, and wound care.
✅ Medication Management: Prescribe appropriate medications and provide patient education.
What You Bring:
✔️ 2+ years of experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine.
✔️ Active California PA license and the ability to work independently.
✔️ Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
✔️ A passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
