Are you a compassionate and skilled RN ready to provide acute care and health screenings in a vibrant college environment? Join our campus wellness center team supporting students and staff with quality care, education, and emergency coordination in Des Plaines.
Schedule:
-
July 16th – September 19th
-
Summer: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
-
Fall: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
What You’ll Do:
-
Deliver acute care and perform health screenings
-
Administer medications and conduct diagnostic testing with follow-up
-
Manage emergencies and escalate to 911 when needed
-
Oversee day-to-day campus wellness center operations
-
Maintain and review student medical records for compliance
-
Accurately document care (paper charting)
-
Educate students on health topics and present as needed
Who You Are:
- Active Illinois RN license required
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience (ER or Urgent Care preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and triage skills
- Excellent communicator and independent worker
- Comfortable in outpatient, campus-based settings
