Registered Nurse – Hospice

Introduction:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Columbus, OH team. In this role, you will provide skilled nursing care to patients with life-limiting illnesses, support their families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality end-of-life care.

Job Responsibilities:
– Assess patients’ medical, psychological, and spiritual needs
– Develop and implement individualized care plans with the healthcare team
– Administer medications and treatments per hospice protocols
– Monitor patient conditions, report changes, and adjust care plans as necessary
– Provide emotional support and education to patients and families regarding the dying process
– Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to optimize patient care
– Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress
– Educate and supervise hospice aides and other team members as needed
– Ensure compliance with all hospice policies, procedures, and standards of care

Qualifications:
– Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for home visits
– Experience in hospice, palliative care, or a related field preferred
