Ultrasound Tech

Introduction:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to join our established surgical center in Wilmington, NC. This role provides the opportunity to perform both vascular and general ultrasound imaging in a supportive, patient-focused environment. You’ll work closely with a dedicated healthcare team while delivering high-quality diagnostic care.

Job Responsibilities:
– Create detailed images of blood vessels and collect data to assist physicians in diagnosing disorders affecting blood flow
– Evaluate blood flow and identify blocked arteries or blood clots
– Perform general ultrasounds, including gallbladder, thyroid, and other soft tissue imaging
– Maintain accurate records and collaborate with the healthcare team

Qualifications:
– 2+ years experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
– Strong knowledge of vascular and general ultrasound procedures
– Excellent communication and patient care skills
– Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
